Our available Block of the Month Programs are:
Northern Lights
Northern Lights is a gorgeous quilt that will have you dreaming of being snuggled up on a cold, northern night. Designed by Marti Michell using an array of luscious creams and taupes, the fabrics almost blend to achieve a buttery soft and inviting effect. The blocks use Marti Michell's Perfect Patchwork Templates Set B & Set D, and are wonderfully sized at 16" finished blocks. Connecting the focus blocks is the Northern Lights Block, which also lends the quilt its name. The borders are basic but the fabric is not! Michael Miller's Fairy Frost fabric gives the border its own flair and frames this quilt beautifully.
During this 13-month Block-of-the-Month program, you will receive the patterns and fabrics needed to make the quilt top including the borders and binding. The Perfect Patchwork Templates are available separately. The finished quilt measures 81" x 105".

Hop To It
Hop To It, designed by Edyta Sitar for Laundry Basket Quilts, is a striking quilt made even more beautiful with its' use of vibrant colors. Inspired by nature, these 12 stunning blocks will bring the great outdoors right into your sewing room. During this 13 month Block of the Month program, you will receive the book, Hop To It, and the fabrics needed to make the quilt top. The book will be sent with your first month's shipment. The finished quilt measures 64" x 78".
There is a $25 non-refundable start-up fee, then only $24.95 per month plus shipping and handling for each kit.

Be There, Get Your Square
Here is a star-studded Sampler program featuring beautiful patchwork stars. Be There, Get Your Square offers 3 pieced blocks a month, a 12", a 9", and a 6"; the same block, just different sizes. Pick from 2 beautiful color-ways: Serenity or Scrappy. The finished quilt, using the optional finishing kit, includes the appliqué blocks for setting and borders and binding to finish the quilt at 80" x 89". Finishing kits will be available for purchase.
In-Store Program: With your $5 initial Sign-Up, you will receive the first 12" block. Then, show up on the first Saturday of each month, and bring back the previous month's block finished to receive the next 12" block FREE. If you choose to do the alternate blocks, the 9" and 6" star blocks, they are $7 each month. You must attend each month. If you miss a month, you will be required to pay $5 for each 12" block that you missed. Finishing kits will be available for purchase.
On-Line Program: We welcome our online customers to participate in this great program. However, due to time and distance constraints, it has to work a little different.
There is a $5 initial fee, then, beginning in March, you will be billed $15.50 monthly (including shipping), and we will send you all three (12", 9" and 6") pieced star blocks. Since our online participants can't join us for all the in-store fun, we'll throw in a little surprise with each package. Sign up today!
Sisters in Suffrage
Celebrate the lives of 12 historical women who dared to question why women weren’t afforded the right to vote with this Kansas City Star Block-of-the-Month quilt. Each block tells the story of a woman who stood up against the conventions of the day, and whose life’s work led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920 allowing women to vote. Follow the decades-long journey of women’s voting rights and gain a new appreciation for just how precious this right is. Popular quilt designers Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith of Homestead Hearth show have designed a quilt that honors these women who had the courage to fight for equality. This quilt finishes 92” x 116”.
During this 13-month Block-of-the-Month program, you will receive the book, Women of Influence: 12 Leaders of the Suffrage Movement, fabrics and a finishing kit needed to make the quilt top including the borders and binding. There will also be several history lessons featuring American women included in this program.

Kaleidoscope of Kolor
This amazing quilt, designed by Thea Jirak of The Quilt Connection, is awe-inspiring, and simply put...beautiful. This quilt is available in two color-ways, Earth (cream colored background) and Jewel (black background).
A Kaleidoscope of Kolor presents a variety of sampler blocks in striking colors featuring Maywood Studios' Shadow Play fabrics. Finished size of the quilt: 96" x 100" During this 13-month Block-of-the-Month program, you will receive the patterns and fabrics needed to make the quilt top including the borders and binding.

White Work Sampler
This truly elegant quilt boasts a rich, aged earth tone brown. Creamy, ivory white appliqué pieces float on top of each block. Appliqué can be done traditionally or by machine! This would be a great project for the beginning appliqué quilter and a fun project for enthusiasts.
In this 14 month program, you will receive the fabrics, monthly patterns and instructions to make each block, the sashing, borders and binding.
