The Quilt Corner is proud to present The Texas Trek, a seven-day quilting and sight-seeing pilgrimage across North Texas. Step aboard our luxury coach as we visit Canton Trade days, The Cowgirl Museum, the historic City of Jefferson and some of Texas’ top quilting shops.

The fun continues as we see Shrek the Musical and get to meet the cast!

Get inspired with a full day of activities at Stitchin’ Heaven, one of the nation's top 10 quilting stores, located in Quitman, and Common Threads in Waxahachie. With thousands of fabrics to choose from, including their own lines, these shops will have fabric enthusiasts skipping down the aisles! Of course the shopping doesn’t stop there.

We’ll also visit:

• The Old Craft Store
• Cabbage Rose Quilt Shop
• The Quilt Asylum

Shrek the Musical

Registration also includes your ticket to see Shrek the Musical, with a backstage pass to meet the cast! This acclaimed Broadway show is an adaptation of the movie and promises to be a fun evening full of laughs.

Take in some Texas history

Continuing our Texas theme, we’ll visit the Cowgirl Museum in Ft. Worth, the world’s only museum honoring America’s courageous and pioneering women of the West. We’ll also take a step into the 19th century as we tour the historic City of Jefferson. Located on Old Cypress bayou, this timeless Texan city boasts museums, carriage rides, brick-paved streets and shops.
